Scanning & Archiving

Archiving digital photos

How are you archiving your digital camera photos? So, you’ve carefully catalogued them on your hard drive – what happens if the hard drive crashes or your PC/laptop is stolen or damaged by fire, floods, etc? You must archive them to a non-erasable media such as CD or DVD and store in a different location to the PC or upload to the cloud, we can advise you with cloud storage.
We help our clients restore and preserve their family history by organizing their digital and print photo archives, and digitizing their older print, and video collections into an organised searchable library of photos & memories.

Scanning printed photos & Documents

We all have those shoe boxes of photos tucked away in cupboards, mounted in old non-acid free albums. These photos will be treasured by our children and grandchildren after our time on this earth but will they still be in good condition? Why not preserve them for our future generations.

We can scan these photos at different resolution levels, they can be used to create many creative products such as photo books, posters, collages or create some wall art to show off your photography. Yes, we can scan documents such as birth/wedding/death certificates, graduation certificates any important document you may want to preserve or use in a creative photo project.

Children’s art work

Children are endlessly creating “art” that parents haven’t the heart to throw out. It’s like throwing out photos of your child – it’s a record of their creativity and the progress they made as they mastered pens and paint. If you don’t want their artwork to be forgotten but want to reduce the clutter it creates, we have the solution.

The extra special artistic creations deserve special treatment! They can be reproduced as framed collages, enlargements, or canvas prints then displayed with pride. Or create personalised gifts such as mugs, key-rings, bags, T-shirts, coasters, etc. Wherever you can use a digital photo, you can use a digital version of your child’s artwork.

Shoe Box Scanning

You bring in a box or bag of photos and we will bulk scan them for you and burn them to a disc or USB Stick.
